In AeroGCS ORANGE, opting for the "Automatic" mission type presents users with a choice between two vehicle types. The first option is the multirotor drone, and the second one is the VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft, as illustrated in the displayed screen. This selection allows users to tailor their mission plan based on the specific capabilities and characteristics of either the multirotor drone or VTOL aircraft.

  1. Multirotor Drone: A versatile aerial vehicle with multiple rotors, offering agility and stability. Ideal for precise maneuvers and hovering, making it suitable for various mission types, including surveys and inspections.

  2. 2. VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing): Aircraft capable of vertical take-off and landing, combining the benefits of both fixed-wing and rotorcraft. Well-suited for missions requiring efficiency in long-distance travel and flexibility in deployment, such as large-scale surveys and mapping.
