# 10.2 Vehicle Type

In AeroGCS ORANGE, opting for the "Automatic" mission type presents users with a choice between two vehicle types. The first option is the multirotor drone, and the second one is the VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft, as illustrated in the displayed screen. This selection allows users to tailor their mission plan based on the specific capabilities and characteristics of either the multirotor drone or VTOL aircraft.

1. **Multirotor Drone:** A versatile aerial vehicle with multiple rotors, offering agility and stability. Ideal for precise maneuvers and hovering, making it suitable for various mission types, including surveys and inspections.
2. **2. VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing):** Aircraft capable of vertical take-off and landing, combining the benefits of both fixed-wing and rotorcraft. Well-suited for missions requiring efficiency in long-distance travel and flexibility in deployment, such as large-scale surveys and mapping.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://aerogcs-orange-docs.aeromegh.com/10.-mission-planning/10.2-vehicle-type.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
