Last updated 3 months ago

To edit a waypoint plan for a specific project, begin by opening the plan in the flight plan view.

As shown in the following screen.

After the waypoint plan becomes visible on the screen, click on the "Edit" button under the waypoint section. This action enables users to edit the waypoint parameters and fence boundary directly from the waypoint section of the plan. Now, users can edit each waypoint as needed.

Users have the option to directly upload the plan by clicking the "Upload" button if they want to reuse the same plan without any modifications.

Waypoint Details :

In this section, users can edit and modify existing waypoints. To change the location of a waypoint, the user must select it on the map view and drag it to a new location according to their needs and plan. The longitude and latitude of the waypoints will be updated in the waypoint details. To add a new waypoint, simply click on the map view, and it will automatically connect to the previous waypoint. Similarly, users can adjust the altitude and speed for each waypoint separately. After adjusting the parameters of each waypoint, the user must click on the "Apply" button to ensure that the new parameters are applied independently to each waypoint. The total area covered by all the waypoints will be calculated automatically and displayed in the Total Area field.

Camera Action :

In the AeroGCS ORANGE waypoint plan, users have the option to set the camera trigger action for each waypoint from the drop-down list. To edit the Camera Action for a specific waypoint, the user can select the waypoint and choose the desired camera action from the drop-down menu.

Gimbal :

In the AeroGCS ORANGE waypoint plan, users can enable or disable the Gimbal for each waypoint. To edit the Gimbal settings for a waypoint, select the waypoint and click the Gimbal checkbox to enable it. Once enabled, users can set values for pitch, roll, and yaw. It's important to note that users cannot set pitch, roll, and yaw if the Gimbal checkbox is not selected.

Hold :

In AeroGCS ORANGE, users can hold the flying drone at a waypoint for a specified duration in seconds. To edit the hold duration, enable the Hold option by clicking the checkbox, and then enter the desired hold duration in seconds in the text field. It's important to note that users cannot set the hold duration if the Hold option is not selected.

Fence Boundary :

To edit the fence boundary in the waypoint plan, the user must enable it using the switch button provided. Enabling this option will display fence waypoints on the map in red color with numbers. Users can select a fence waypoint to change its location and drag it to a new position. This action will rearrange and redraw the fence boundary according to the updated fence waypoints.

Users can remove a fence boundary waypoint by selecting it with a single click and then clicking on the "Clear" button. This action will delete the selected fence boundary waypoint.

After completing the editing of parameters under waypoint details and fence boundary, as mentioned earlier, users must apply the changes by clicking on the "Apply" button. This action ensures that all the new values are applied to the waypoint plan.
