# 7.7	 Export a Plan

In AeroGCS ORANGE, users can export an existing plan from a project to a KML file for reuse or storage. Access the list of plans from the project view, as illustrated in the following screen.

<figure><img src="/files/OyBdTVBPklLUrgblMYj6" alt=""><figcaption><p>Export to .kml</p></figcaption></figure>

To export a plan to KML in AeroGCS ORANGE, click on the three dots at the end of the plan details. This will present options, including "**Export to KML**," as indicated in the above screen. Once the user clicks on "**Export KML**," the selected plan will be exported to a KML file and saved locally. A confirmation message, along with the path where the KML file is stored, will be displayed, as shown in the following screen.

Now, the user has the flexibility to copy the KML file and reuse it as needed.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://aerogcs-orange-docs.aeromegh.com/7.-projects/7.7-export-a-plan.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
