# 15. VTOL Support

AeroGCS ORANGE supports the VTOL device for a flight.

VTOL, or Vertical Take-Off and Landing, represents a fusion of fixed-wing and MultiCopter aircraft, offering both advantages. Ideal for efficient surveying of larger areas with optimal battery use, VTOL combines the endurance and speed of fixed-wing design with the versatility of multi-rotor UAVs. Despite the benefits, fixed-wing drones like VTOL face challenges in landing compared to other drone types.
